Wire sculptures by a Melbourne artist

I guess you guys are used to seeing sculptures made from clay that is shaped into various things. In today’s post, we want to give you something different, unique, and of course with a human touch.

The pictures above are marvelous wire sculptures that were beautifully done by Melbourne-based sculptor, Annie Glass. Inspired by Picasso, her work is best described as whimsical snapshots of life like in the female form, children, dogs, water, the beach, and hills hoists.

Annie adds portrays movement in her work by creating the illusion of defying gravity to combine the lack of balance. With that, she has won awards and has worked in many private collections in Australia, New York, and London.
