But the Japanese artist Nagato Iwasaki presented the twisted idea by using driftwood for his sculptures.
This series of natural sculptures can both give you goosebumps and amaze you at the same time. The faceless giants have the physical appearance of humans, but with the plot twists and turns of muscle and organs portrayed externally through the warped wood.Picture source: Website Nagato IwasakiThe coolest thing about these incredible life-sized driftwood sculptures is that they look like straight-out characters from a Sci-Fi movie! The artist manages to create an uneasy feeling using nothing but driftwood and you can be sure that if you’d stumble upon one of these sculptures at night, you’d go sleepless for days.
