Human face ceramics by Johnson Tsang

The Hong Kong-based sculptor Johnson Tsang is using realist sculptural techniques accompanied by his incredible surrealist imagination. He continues to create spectacularly emotive ceramic sculptures of the human face that amaze the world.

By using plain, unglazed clay, avoiding typical lifelike details such as color, hair, and apparel, to focus on the universally relatable expressions of each of his imagined subjects while challenging us to see the world in a different way.
