How to Clean Rugs

A clean rug must be the dream of everyone who sees it, right? If the rug is clean, the aesthetic impression will show. In addition, it will definitely be protected from germs or mites that usually stick to the surface of the rugs if you don’t clean it.

Usually, owners prefer to use laundry services to clean rugs. Besides the rug is hard when you wash it by yourself, it also takes up so much space when drying it. But hey, if you have a rug and it only has a few stains, it's better to clean it yourself without using water or without using a laundry service.

To clean the rug from stains, you just need saltwater, vinegar, and lime juice then spray it on the stained rug, wipe it using a wet cloth, and wait for it to dry. You also can use baking soda to clean stains on rugs. It’s easy guys!

First, wet the stained part of the rug with some water, then all you have to do is sprinkle baking soda and let it sit for about 15 minutes.

After that, you can immediately vacuum it using a vacuum cleaner. The stain problem on the carpet is solved.

Now the question is, how do you clean a rug from animal hair or dust?

To clean it from animal hair or dust, you only need to use a vacuum cleaner. If you don't have a vacuum cleaner, you only need a brush and a lint roller to treat or clean the rug from animal hair and other dust. This method is even easier. You just need to brush the entire surface of the rug, then just use the lint roller from top to bottom slowly so that the dust and dirt are lifted.
