Picture source: Yosuke AmemiyaBefore you ask, no you can’t eat these apples, and yes they are not real apples! These mind-blowing apples are actually sculptures made by Japanese artist Yosuke Amemiya.
With apple, Yosuke Amemiya tests the boundaries of reality and fiction. Life-like sculptures, left in everyday surroundings, like a grocery store or a university, subtly alter the viewer’s experience of place and time. Much more than a practical joke, Apple creates an imaginary space where you least expect it.

Amemiya said that his works of apples focus on the experience that doubting what ‘seems to make the world’ may sometimes make the world itself look drastically different, like a domino effect.
