Balaclava inspired by an anime
Irish artist Kaz presents an anatomical heart balaclava that was inspired by Shin from the anime Dorohedoro.
She explained in her post that she used some amazing hand-dyed merino wool from Donegal. The most difficult part of crocheting this mask was the aorta because she has redone it about 10 times.
She wanted to make the mask realistic like Shin's mask. She also applied this to the pulmonary veins and arteries to have them point up instead of straight out of the mask.
